Installation and use of HKSSA Safety Alarm

Safety Alarm can be installed wherever there are electricity supply and desk-top telephone. The Safety Alarm is a user-friendly hands-free device with two-way communication. The alarm is equipped with a red and a green buttons while the remote is equipped with a red and a black buttons. You can gain access to our Customer Service Officers by pressing the red button on the main device or its remote control.


Our advanced computer system can verify caller’s identity and his/her personal information upon receipt of the call. Our staff are fluent in Cantonese, Putonghua, English and Mainland Dialects which can facilitate the communication.

Who needs HKSSA Safety Alarm?

Given our comprehensive services, the Safety Alarm is suitable for elderly, patients suffering from chronic illness, families with young children and those who can hardly speak Cantonese.

HKSSA Safety Alarm quotation Monthly Fee

The monthly services fee is HK$115 payable on annual or monthly basis. Installment fee of HK$475 will be exempted for customer who subscribes one-year contract.

Application for subsidy for our customers

We can help eligible user to apply for CSSA special grant scheme offered by Social Welfare Department and Housing Department. Deposits and service fee will be exempted for all successful applicants of CSSA. Application requirements are as follows:


Sponsor Age Criteria Living Condition Income & Saving
Social Welfare Department 65 or above; or 60-64 with disability allowances or the need for Safety Alarm is certified by practicing physician. CSSA recipients Living alone or ; Living with cohabitants who are disabled , aged over 65 or suffering from chronic illness Taking CSSA qualification as a standard
Housing Department 65 or above; or 60-64 with disability allowances or the need for Safety Alarm is certified by practicing physician. Tenants of Housing Department living alone and non-CSSA recipients Living with cohabitants with aged over 60 Monthly salary: < HK$7,850 /1 person; or < HK$12,770 /2 people; and saving : < HK$344,000 /1 person ; < $506,000 /2 person
